Outstanding Success in International Design for ERLUS

Neufahrn. ERLUS AG is delighted to announce that Erlutherm has been honored with the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2026. 

This globally renowned award is a hallmark of outstanding design and exceptional quality. It has been presented for over 70 years by iF International Forum Design GmbH, one of the world’s oldest independent design institutions. The award was granted in the discipline “Product Design,” category “Building Technology,” recognizing the innovative and exceptional design of Erlutherm. With this achievement, ERLUS ranks among the best of more than 10,000 submissions from 68 countries – an impressive accomplishment that highlights the highly competitive nature of this award.

Erlutherm Stands Out in the Market 

With its pioneering technology and sophisticated design, ERLUS Erlutherm impressed an international jury of 129 independent design experts. It prevailed against top-class competition and rightfully received the coveted seal of approval. The jury evaluated the concept, form, functionality, sustainability and brand differentiation.

Heat-Storage Stove Integrated into the Chimney

Erlutherm is ERLUS’ new premium product. It combines a heat-storage fireplace stove and chimney in one system, saving valuable living space. Its ceramic core stores thermal energy and releases it slowly and evenly as comfortable radiant heat. This heat-storage stove integrated into the chimney enables space-saving, self-sufficient heating in modern buildings while remaining easy to maintain. Erlutherm is available in three model variants through building materials retailers: Basic, Ceramic and Ceramic Deluxe. The Erlutherm Kreativ version is available exclusively through specialist stove manufacturers. Erlutherm has already received the German Design Award 2026. The iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 is therefore the second design prize for this innovative new ERLUS product.
