ERLUS FORUM ON TOUR: When Craftsmanship, Science and Business enter into Dialogue
Neufahrn, February 2, 2026 – Connecting people, sharing knowledge: There are events you leave feeling more informed than before. And then there are those where you also feel part of something bigger. For years, the ERLUS Forum has belonged to the latter category. In 2026, it will go on the road for the first time, stopping in cities across Germany as the ERLUS Forum on Tour.
As host, ERLUS AG is deliberately creating a space for exchange, orientation and discussion – for roofing professionals, for academia and for business. For people who make decisions every day, whether on the construction site, within their companies or in the marketplace.
Connecting Instead of Lecturing
What was previously firmly rooted in Rosenheim is now expanding beyond regional borders. For eight years, ERLUS established the Forum together with the Zimmerer-Innung Rosenheim and Technische Hochschule Rosenheim (TH Rosenheim) as a meeting point for craftsmanship, research and entrepreneurial practice. Now, the manufacturer of roofing tiles, chimney systems and ventilation networks is bringing this proven format directly to where its partners work – throughout Germany.
“Our Forum has always thrived on bringing together different perspectives,” says Guido Hörer, Head of Sales Roof Ceramics at ERLUS.
“Craftsmanship needs scientific impulses, economic context and open dialogue. That is exactly what we now want to make possible nationwide.”
Kick-Off in Frankfurt
The tour will kick off on February 6, 2026 at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt. The speakers on stage will not lecture but provide context and demonstrate how the future can be shaped in practical terms:
-
Wolf Hirschmann, marketing and sales consultant, on shaping the future and strengthening the skilled trades: Morgen möglich machen (Making tomorrow possible)
-
Jos Janelle / Thomas Bücheler (Airteam), on artificial intelligence in the roofing trade with practical drone applications: KI im Handwerk (AI in skilled trades)
-
Adrian Blödt, building physicist and certified expert, on research as a driver of modern timber construction: Holzbau im Höhenflug (Timber construction on the rise)
-
Wolfgang Bosbach, lawyer and politician, on responsibility and decisive action in challenging times: Neues Jahr! Alte Probleme? Was jetzt zu tun ist (New Year! Old Problems? What needs to be done now)
-
Felix Brych, internationally acclaimed referee, on leadership, control and clear decision-making under pressure: Entscheidungen treffen und Kontrolle behalten in einem instabilen Umfeld (Making decisions and maintaining control in an unstable environment)
Speakers may vary depending on the location. Additional dates are planned, including stops in Rosenheim and Stuttgart.
Investing in the Skilled Trades
For ERLUS, the Forum on Tour reflects a corporate philosophy rooted in craftsmanship tradition and innovative ideas for sustainable, market-driven quality.
“An investment in the skilled trades is always a sound investment,” says Andreas Wilhelm, Member of the Management Board of ERLUS AG and responsible for Marketing and Sales since February 1, 2026. “We want to listen, engage in discussion and jointly explore the potential within the construction industry – technologically, economically and socially.”
