Level RS Cool Roof
Light-Colored Surface for a Better Climate
The new Level RS Cool Roof is an innovative roofing tile that actively contributes to climate protection. Its highly reflective surface reduces heat absorption, lowers building temperatures, and minimizes the urban heat island effect. Especially in densely built-up areas, it creates a noticeably cooler environment by reducing the amount of heat absorbed and stored by the building. As a result, indoor comfort is improved and energy consumption for air conditioning is reduced. A sustainable solution for energy-efficient and future-oriented construction.

High Reflectance
Reflects significantly more solar radiation with R = 68,4 % than conventional clay roof tiles
Energy-Efficient and Sustainable
Reduced cooling demand leads to lower energy consumption and CO₂ emissions
Less Heat Build-Up
Lower surface temperatures help keep buildings comfortably cool even on hot days
Natural Indoor Climate
Supports nighttime cooling for a pleasant living environment

Tested Technology
Studies conducted by the Technical University of Applied Sciences Stuttgart have scientifically confirmed the high reflectance performance of the Level RS Cool Roof. Compared to conventional, darker roof tiles, it reflects a significantly higher proportion of solar radiation, thereby noticeably reducing heat absorption by the roof. Measurement results show that the reflectance of the Cool Roof Level RS is substantially higher than that of a smooth, natural red clay roof tile. This underscores the effectiveness of the special surface coating and confirms its positive impact on building temperature regulation. In addition, the tile actively contributes to reducing the urban heat island effect.
proven in practice
As early as 2021, a building complex in southern France was equipped with Cool Roof roof tiles. Combined with a rear-ventilated ceramic facade in five light color shades, the result was a state-of-the-art, climate-friendly architectural solution. The positive experience gained from this project led to the development of the new Level RS Cool Roof.
