A passport for tested, healthy-living ERLUS systems

How the SHI Product Passport identifies low-emission tested products

Neufahrn. The SHI Product Passport issued by the Sentinel Holding Institute (SHI) is now available in both German and English for the chimney systems, the Erlutherm chimney-stove combination, and the Via Vento S ventilation network. The digital document bundles certifications for low-emission and healthy living construction products.

The basis is the testing carried out by the Sentinel Holding Institute, which evaluates products for health-related substances and publishes the results in the SHI database. “With the SHI Product Passport, we can transparently demonstrate the healthy living properties of our systems,” says Jürgen Böhm, Head of Sales Chimney Systems and Ventilation Networks at ERLUS.  

Central database for planning and funding

The SHI Product Passport is aimed at planners, auditors, construction companies, investors, and executing trades. As a digital interface, it facilitates access to product-specific certifications and simplifies their integration into construction and certification processes. The bundled data structure reduces coordination efforts and supports efficient project execution. You can find the ERLUS products in the SHI database here.
