ERLUS Roof Tile Replacement Module Wins Design Award
Energiedach Wins German Design Award 2027
Neufahrn, October 2026. The ERLUS Energiedach for Level RS has received the German Design Award 2027 in the category “Excellent Product Design – Building and Elements”. The in-roof PV solution impressed the jury with its combination of functionality and design.
“We are delighted to receive this award,” says Andreas Wilhelm, Executive Board Member for Marketing and Sales at ERLUS. “Our goal was to create an aesthetically pleasing solution for rooftop photovoltaics. The fact that we have achieved this with the Energiedach for Level RS is now confirmed by this design award as well.”
The ERLUS Energiedach combines the function of a roof tile and a photovoltaic module in a single component, integrating aesthetically into the roof surface without additional structures. The jury of the German Design Award (GDA) consists of renowned representatives from business, academia, science and industry. The GDA applies high standards when selecting its winners. Only products nominated by the German Design Council are eligible for consideration by the jury.
Energiedach Combines Functionality and Aesthetics
The German Design Award is presented by the German Design Council and recognises outstanding design achievements. Evaluation is based on defined criteria in a multi-stage process culminating in a two-day jury session. The “Winner” award recognises products whose design sets benchmarks within their respective categories. The award ceremony will take place in Frankfurt in January 2027.
