According to the Central Association of German Roofers’ pamphlet on sub-roofs, sub-coverings and under-bracings, and the basic regulations of the Roofers’ Guild, regular roof pitch 30°, minimum roof pitch 10° (can be laid in a cross bond pattern as well as in rows), according to the generally accepted rules of technology.
Country-specific building standards and/or regulations must be adhered to, if no other contractual agreements have been made.

The ERLUS interlocking tile has a long tradition: This model has been produced at ERLUS for more than a hundred years. Today, this classic tile meets modern requirements offering the best quality without losing its authentic character. These are requirements mandated by the preservation of historical monuments. With the new 20 mm sliding range the tile has been even better adapted to renovation. This means that it fits on almost all roof battens and is ideally suited for retiling or extending existing roofs with new tiles.
